DIY BBI StreetCup Harness Bar Install

I went with BBI Autosport becuase I like the crossed bar design and postitive reviews. I also wanted the bar behind the seat to be just below my shoulders. Some other brands seemed to have the bar too high.

Installation

The primary resource for installation was actually the installation instructions for the Cantrell Motorsports bar. The design is different however the installation process and modified pieces are the same.

The most challenging part of the installation was cutting the carpet and trim pieces. The cutouts in the carpet came out a little big. I bought another one on eBay to take another shot at it, but realized you can't see the holes with the seats in. So I have a spare carpet for sale.

If you use a head and neck restraint, please read the manual. There is a specific belt angle range needed for proper use. For my specific device the belts need to extend at 0 to -10 degrees straight back over the shoulders.
