Installation
The primary resource for installation was this post on Rennlist. It references this post for removing the rear bumper and this post for the actual installation. Also, credit to Plenum for this guide: DIY - 2014 Porsche 991 911 Center Console Trim Removal.
Removing the bumper, crash protection bar, air box, and stock exhaust is fairly straightforward using the guides above. It starts to get tricky when routing the vacuum line. Thankfully the 991.1S is ready to accept the parts needed to route the hose. The plate that covers the end of the crankshaft has a hole in it. You simply need to install the Holder (part# 99111148800). Use the cable clamps to secure the vacuum line leaving the COV. Use the ear clamp pliers to crimp the clamps on the metal hose which attaches to the vacuum unit. The picture to the right (bottom is the PSE) does a nice job showing how the vacuum line is routed.
The stock S exhaust tips definitely work with the sport exhaust. Maybe not a perfect fit but good enough.
Finally, you will need to add the button to your combo switch and have the dealer update your software to get the pops and burbles. Make sure you order the correct combo switch for your car. They are different if your car is a cab or does not have a sunroof. Follow the guide above to remove your center console trim. Add the button and reassemble.
The button is nice because it keeps everything looking factory original. But if you're like me, you get in, turn the key, and enable the sport exhaust every time!
